Alpina fashioned E30

We love passionate owners. This e30 came in needing upgrades and repairs. Now mind you it’s a great looking car with already nice fashioned items like a glass moonroof and alpina 17″ wheels along with a nice alpina pin stripe. But there is always room for improvements. And so with that in mind a list was made for upgrades and repairs.
The list:
- CAtuned Street Performance Coilovers
- Stoptech slotted brake rotors front & rear
- CAtuned Braided brake lines
- CAtuned Poly rear subframe mounts & Poly trailing arm bushings
- Full alpina interior including the door panels & rear headrests
We quickly went to work replacing the mis-matched suspension and cut springs with state of the art coilovers. Setting the ride height to street driving and enjoyable stance. The brakes were shoot and it was the perfect time to replace everything. It’s amazing how much better the car reacts with the replacement of the rotors, pads and stainless brake lines. It really is so important to note that neglecting your brakes is a big no no.
The old subframe and trailing arm bushings were gonners. The entire subframe banged and moved around while driving. That is no longer the case and everything is nice and tidy! No noises or weird vibrations as our poly compound is street.
On the interior we sourced everything from Poland. The quality is better then new. Everything is in the right place and the fitment and stitching is beyond good. The material is new. The rails were all redone and powder coated. The results are out of this world.
What’s next? Well the owner will be back for a full engine rebuild with upgrades there. There is also talk of an Alpina front valance and a new steering wheel. We will be sure to update you on this great car as we see it again later this year!
